I would also like to bring up the issue of my cousin
My cousin came over to Singapore to study. His actually from Honk Kong(which is the place of birth of my parents) so it does have a great impact on my life. But i guess i can adapt since I'm already living with two sisters(you might be thinking that it's kind of cramp) but the question is: Can he deal with this drastic change in his life? Moving out of your own country and venturing in the vast wildness of a foreign country is not exactly easy.
One of the main problems he have to deal with is definitely learning English and simplified Chinese as well as speaking Mandarin.( I just realized that sounds very serious after writing it down)So let's all wish him good luck.
I do have some minor problems after he moved in myself. But they hardly make any difference. Stuff like lesser access to my room and less privacy prove themselves to be minor subjects and are easy to deal with so it's no big deal. We do converse in simple English at home so I'm sure he'll catch up pretty soon. And as to the scholl he's studying in...... there isn't anything to complain about, it's ACSI and i'm sure he has great learning quaters.
